Can you imagine being a parent of an infant - faced with the life altering reality that your newborn is suffering from a rare liver condition which only an organ transplant is the cure? What would you do if in order to receive that cure you were told you needed to write a check for $250,000? Could you save your child’s life? Today, there’s a father, mother, brother, sister or another loved one in somebody’s family who is in the fight of their life. They desperately need a transplant.

Since 1983, NFT has offered hope to transplant patients who are fighting for their lives by helping them overcome financial obstacles that may prevent or delay their lifesaving treatment. The Life for Life Neon 5k is one of many ways NFT uses to secure the financial resources needed to underwrite programs. In fact, over the past 35 years, our fundraising campaigns have generated nearly $82 million dollars for patient care and programs; funding which has allowed NFT to serve more than 4,000 patients each year.
